Gambling Disorder among US Military Veterans: Clinical Considerations

This seminar will discuss gambling disorder among US Military veterans. Current/relevant research studies will be discussed. Common co-occurring mental health disorders (substance use, trauma) found among US veterans with gambling disorder will be examined. A discussion around ways of engaging veterans into treatment for gambling disorder will be conducted, including effective screening approaches for identifying those at risk. Treatment and prevention interventions for gambling disorder for US veterans will be discussed.
