NGAGE 2.0: National Survey on Gambling Attitudes and Gambling Experiences

This workshop, presented by Don Feeney, M.S., M.P.P., will discuss the key findings from two large sample surveys of the gambling behavior and beliefs of the American public. Key findings include the impact of the rapid legalization of sports betting, the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on gambling, the extent of online gambling, and public perceptions of gambling and problem gambling. The 2018 survey also included data specific to California, including the types of gambling preferred by Californians and the degree to which Californians stigmatize problem gambling.
